RIVERSIDE DRIVE 2

Renovation Done Right.
North VanCOuver Renovation
When we had an open house for the completion of our first Riverside Drive project, some neighbours came to have a look. They were blown away by the renovation that the immediately hired Steric Developments to do their renovation. We were thrilled as their house had an almost identical floor plan, which was a rare opportunity. Because of the similar floor plans, we knew exactly what to do.  With the removal of a number of walls, relocating the kitchen, fully renovating the bathrooms and new flooring and tile throughout, we had ourselves another successful home renovation.

DINING ROOM

This dining room was once the kitchen area blocked off with walls. We were able to open everything up, installed a beam that spans from the exterior wall to the kitchen and installed a large double sliding door to create one big open space to not only inside but outside. The seating area in front of the slider was a great design and we loved how  the gold hardware on the wet bar cabinets turned out.

KITCHEN

The matching light engineered floor and upper shelves are contrasted by the dark shaker cabinets, accented by gold hardware which was a really nice look and one of our favourite kitchens to build. The countertop is Calacatta gold by Silestone and installed by Silva Brothers Stoneworks and thanks to Riley’s Custom Cabinets for their great work fabricating and installing the millwork.

MASTER BEDROOM

The subfloor of the house was quite bad so we had to do a lot of work to make sure everything was level before gluing down the Pacific Coast Mackenzie Heights engineered hardwood by Timeless Floors. The owners did a great job decorating the entire house and the master bedroom is no exception.

ENSUITE BATHROOM

Floor to ceiling tile surrounds the ensuite. We used London grey hexagon marble mosaic from Olympia Tile to accent the shower wall. The vanity is actually skinned in a veneer that looks like real wood and is extremely durable.

BATHROOM

This stunning bathroom features a beautiful grey chevron tile in a herringbone patter supplied by Olympia Tile, a free standing oval soaker by Avanity, and a custom walnut vanity made by Riley’s Custom Cabinets. The white subway tile is capped by a slim grey accent tile that acts as a backsplash for the vanity and the tub. Our clients really love how this all turned out!

OFFICE

Most of this office is original other than the new flooring. We kept the beautiful cedar shelves and love the wallpaper that was added to the bifold doors.
