West Vancouver New Build Development

New build Done Right.
1495 Bramwell
Situated in the British Properties, this 8000sf spec home we built was without doubt one of the most extravagant projects we’ve ever built.  With an infinite pool, exterior gas fireplace, wine cellar, and smart home technology, this house really has it all.

KITCHEN

Wolf range, Sub zero fridge, Miele Espresso machine, this kitchen has all the bells and whistles.  The Carrera backsplash contrasted the warm wood cabinets, which gives the kitchen a very elegant and timeless look.

BATHROOM

One of our favourite things about this bathroom is the stone used behind the tub and shower.  It gives a really nice illusion of horizontal lines and has beautiful colour to it.  With heated floors, a large steam shower, and a perfect spot to look out to the forest from the freestanding tub, you could spend a lot of time in here!

MASTER BEDROOM

Overlooking the city, the master bedroom has an amazing view.  With a vaulted ceiling, custom millwork fireplace, and speaker system this room really had everything you could want.  We bordered the fireplace with white mosaic tile to make it pop around the darker millwork.

LIVING ROOM

The living room had 13′ ceilings and large floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pool. We built bulkheads around the ceiling to hide the rope lighting which gives the home and this room a very relaxing atmosphere. The fireplace was done similarly in the master bedroom where there is a nice contrast of white stone to the darker wood.

Dining Room

Throughout the main floor we used large format Carrera tile.  The staircase here was a steal beam that we wrapped wood around the treads to give it the illusion that the treads were floating.  The dark millwork we used as a feature wall gives great contrast to the space.

Front Deck

This was really an amazing outdoor space.  Seamless glass railings, an outdoor BBQ and fire place, were the features of the deck.  The concrete slab had a trench drain in front of the sliding eclipse doors which minimized any transition so when opened the whole inside and outside of the house felt like one.

Home theatre

Vaulted ceilings and rope lighting again are shown in this picture.  Wallpaper was used on the walls with sconce lighting fixtures to give the room a contemporary and elegant feel.  The speaker system is hidden behind the millwork and the huge projector screen really creates a magical cinema experience.

BACK DECK

Built on the side of a mountain, we were able to use the existing rocks from the property to build a big retaining wall in the backyard and maximize the space available.  Using different size paving stones, we were able to create a unique pattern that adds a creative touch to the area.  We used white paint around the windows and trim to create a nice contrast from the stucco and soffits.
