WHEELHOUSE RENOVATION
This spacious two bedroom, two bathroom in False Creek Vancouver, had an amazing patio overlooking the seawall and park. The owner wanted a full facelift which included redoing both bathrooms, new flooring, paint, and freshening up the kitchen.
DINING ROOM
We removed all the crown moulding in the apartment and scraped the popcorn ceiling flat to give the place a more modern feel. Patio access was a sliding glass door which we replaced with a French door and slightly lowered the step to go outside. The flooring we installed was really beautiful and was supplied by Ethical flooring and manufactured by Metro Hardwood Floors called Plateau – Brushed Oak Sagebrush.
KITCHEN
Most of the kitchen was kept intact except for the backsplash tile, which we installed in a stacked pattern. The cabinets were repainted by Cabinet Painting Vancouver in an off white which really freshened up the space and was a nice contrast to the floor.
MASTER BEDROOM
You can get a good sense of the wide plank engineer floor installed in this picture. We also sprayed all the window frames white which brings less attention to them and more attention to the view outside.
ENSUITE BATHROOM
The vanity offers a lower makeup seating area and the large mirror that spans the vanity really gives the ensuite a spacious feeling. We removed old glass blocks in the shower and replaced it with frosted glass and added a shower bench to relax on making this shower super luxurious.
BATHROOM
The main bathroom has a very sleek design where we ran the floor tile up the wall which ties into the shower. The stacked pattern runs from the floor up the walls creating nice clean lines.
