Whistler Condo

This was a really fun project that we did in Whistler where we were able to blend a lot of contemporary ideas with elements of nature that you would see around the area.  We wanted to bring a warm feeling that made you feel comfortable after a day on the slopes but still maintained a modern feel.

KITCHEN

We wanted to create a kitchen that had clean lines and really put the focal point on the stone countertop.  All of the uppers are symmetrical and are the same height creating both horizontal and vertical lines across the kitchen. We went with push hardware to keep the door fronts clean.   Wrapping the stone up as a backsplash really helped showcase the material and when you walk into the room that is what your eye is drawn to.

BATHROOM

One of our favourite vanities we’ve built, we used glass top mounted bowls and in-bedded river rock into to the top vanity.  The walnut grain gave the vanity lots of depth and character that really brought the whole concept together.

MASTER BEDROOM

This wood panelled wall added a really unique feel to the bedroom and added some warmth.  The deer art added a nice contrast and kept with the outdoor nature of the space.

BATHROOM

By building out the wall behind the mirror and adding rope lighting behind, the mirror has a floating effect and can be set on a sensor so if desired, you can have a nice indirect light at night which can be really relaxing.
