DOLLARTON NORTH VANCOUVER

Our goal with this 60’s split-level was to create a comfortable bright open living home with a modern country chic indoor /outdoor vibe. By taking out all of the walls and vaulting the ceiling, the kitchen now flows right into the living area that creates an inviting, warm atmosphere for family living and entertaining. The whole back wall was replaced with infinity doors, as well as a large skylight which achieved the perfect indoor/outdoor living space. The whole room now gazes over the beautiful turquoise pool and gorgeously appointed garden which is lit up like a fairyland at night. The large center island is an antique pine buffet with a glass quartz countertop, which is ideal for family time and socializing.

KITCHEN

The open beams add warmth and architectural detail to the space and the open cement and glass shelving is not only a beautiful accent but also very functional. Complete with radiant heating, the wide-plank, golden oak flooring, which sprawls the whole kitchen, dining room, hall and living area, gives the room warmth and coziness with a lovely sunny glow.

BATHROOM

Positioning this graceful claw-foot soaker tub in the middle of the room, we created an elegant space ideal for relaxing and taking in the view. The crystal chandelier hangs over the tub which adds lots of glam to the room. We also added a steam shower which is a fabulous addition to any home. The large white porcelain tile flooring gives the room a gorgeous look. The bathroom vanity sprawls one whole side of the bathroom, boasting 2 beautiful porcelain sinks and a gorgeous white glass quartz counter.

MASTER BEDROOM

This room was originally 2 bedrooms which we converted into a master bedroom and ensuite bathroom. By avoiding walls separating the bedroom, bathroom and vaulting the ceiling, we achieved a beautiful luxurious sanctuary for sweet dreams.

We sourced glamorous lighting for this room which adds sparkle and elegance to the space.

BABY ROOM

With not much space to work with, we turned this room from an office into a nursery. The cloud wallpaper creates a peaceful atmosphere to soothe a baby to sleep.

BATHROOM

This room was created as a kids bathroom downstairs. We used glossy white subway tiles for the shower and grey slate colored floor tiles. We chose to design this room with clean lines for functionality and cleanliness with a touch of class.

BACK DECK

After tearing out the rotten side stairs we extended the back patio with a wooden deck extension which added a whole new area of living space onto the already magnificent pool area.
