Squamish Residence
Nestled within the prestigious Squamish Estates, this residence stands as one of our most cherished projects. Embarking on a comprehensive transformation from the studs, we not only revitalized the entire property but also integrated a mortgage-assisting suite, enhancing its functionality and value. Every aspect of the design, meticulously curated by Steric Developments, contributed to the creation of a truly unique and exceptional property. The joy of working with a blank canvas allowed us to incorporate all-new windows, siding, and meticulously selected interior and exterior finishes, resulting in a residence that exemplifies unparalleled craftsmanship and distinctive style.
Kitchen
In our pursuit of enhancing spatial flow, we strategically eliminated the partition between the kitchen and living room, creating an expansive and interconnected living space. For the kitchen, we embraced a bold aesthetic, featuring lower cabinets adorned with striking black door fronts that harmonize with the windows, while lighter wood uppers complement the flooring. A defining element of this culinary haven is the island, where a concealed wine fridge lies beneath the sophisticated Vicostone Olympus White waterfall countertop. This design not only imparts a distinctive appeal but also provides a chic and functional sitting area, perfect for hosting and entertaining.
Living Area
Accentuating the living room is a fireplace boasting distinctive elements, including a floating quartz base, a sleek Rave42 linear fireplace from Vaglio Fireplaces, and a custom inset framed area designed to accommodate a TV as large as 60″. This thoughtful configuration not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the space but also addresses practical considerations by shielding the TV from the heat generated by the fireplace, ensuring both style and functionality in this curated living environment.
Master Bedroom
Transforming the master bedroom into a haven of luxury, we introduced a custom walk-in closet and a stunning ensuite, seamlessly incorporated into the elevated upstairs floor plan. The meticulous attention to detail extends to the hardware selections throughout the house, maintaining a cohesive design theme of contrasting light and dark elements that harmonize with the newly installed Vinyltek windows. This thoughtfully curated master suite not only enhances functionality but also exemplifies a consistent and sophisticated aesthetic throughout the residence.
Guest Bathroom
Opting for a timeless palette, this bathroom exudes sophistication with neutral tones that provide a serene backdrop. The centerpiece of the space is a luxurious walnut double vanity sourced from Teodor Vanities, adding warmth and elegance. Complemented by large format tiles from Fontile, the bathroom achieves a sleek, bright, and modern ambiance, combining refined aesthetics with contemporary design for an inviting and visually striking retreat.
Guest Suite Kitchen
Danma Kitchens has impeccably furnished both kitchens, showcasing their commitment to quality and style. In the suite, a neutral palette was thoughtfully chosen, reflecting a contemporary and versatile design. As the trend of incorporating mortgage helpers gains popularity among families, Steric Developments has been instrumental in assisting numerous clients to optimize their space, facilitating the creation of attractive and functional living spaces conducive to securing exceptional tenants.
Exterior
The exterior transformation of this project serves as a compelling testament to the substantial impact of well-chosen siding on a home’s curb appeal. Partnering with Fisher Coatings for both wood and Hardie shingles, we employed a distinctive approach to elevate the aesthetic. The lower wood siding, treated by Fisher through a specialized process that accentuates the natural grain, is stained to impart a unique texture of exceptional beauty. Incorporating a random pattern of 1×4 and 1×6 siding creates a visually captivating effect that resonates with our design vision. The combination of warm-toned wood and grey shingles not only imparts a timeless quality but also fosters a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, making a striking statement for the residence.
Pool Area
Our meticulous transformation of the backyard has elevated it into a breathtaking oasis, starting with the poolside deck. What was once an unattractive gravel space overrun with weeds has now been reimagined into a spacious deck, seamlessly aligned with the pool’s edge. This expansive area features custom bench seating enveloping the deck, enhanced by carefully integrated accent lighting, a cozy fire pit, and durable Trex composite decking. To address weathered concrete slabs, we introduced large tile pavers adjacent to the house, creating a visually appealing and level patio. Completing the rejuvenation, we planted new grass to harmonize with the elevated height of the pavers, resulting in a stunning and cohesive outdoor retreat.
